Facility:

K. B. H. S. S. Trusts Institute of Pharmacy has 01 Pharmacognosy Laboratory equipped with equipment’s of cost more than 22 Lakh. B. Pharmacy courses utilizing the laboratories for regular experiments and research work in the Pharmacognosy discipline. Laboratories are equipped with multipurpose equipments like Microscopes, Muffle furnace, Autoclave, Hot air oven, BOD Incubators, Antibiotic zone reader, colony counter and Digital balance, Camera lucida (Prism type/ Mirror type) and Moisture balance etc. Projection microscope, Binocular microscopes are also available for the study of crude drugs. Pharmacognosy Lab also has clavenger’s and soxhlet apparatus for extraction of drug.
